Autodidact and armed with few technical concepts

Frances P. Ryan began photography 15 years ago. “Purist”, she works with film and  develops her own pictures with extreme contrast.

She experiments the different techniques in developing and focuses on topics that are dear to her – water and stone.

Paris is seen with humour, where we least expect it. Her second book “Paris à l’envers, Paris upside down” is a work of ten years’ puddle reflections  , a book that “bothers and troubles”
